Finally I have had a little time to play, after lots of running around after hubby broke two bones in his foot. We had to travel 2000 kms by car to go see an Orthopaedic surgeon only to be told it will heal all by itself - still I forced myself to do some shopping in the big smoke while we were away. Now I am finally able to focus on Christmas and enjoy all the preparations.

Fireman Benji turns 8
My baby turns 8 this week - which I can't believe. He has always wanted to be a fireman (since he was about 2) so I find myself making Fireman themed birthday cards each year - although I am sure I will run out of ideas one of these years, maybe by then he will change his mind . . . . . . . . . . . hmmm I wonder?????
Wedding Card
This card is for a special wedding that we have been invited to. The colours used are not ones that I would normally use but the wedding invite was in these colours and I am told that this is the colour theme of the wedding - I think it came out quiet nice. The corner pocket on the inside is to enclose a special gift.

My Chocolate Ice Cream Box
This is a little box that I made for my dear friend Judith for her birthday. I call it my chocolate ice cream box because my boys think it looks like one of those ice creams with chocolate biscuit around them hehehe. I am so happy with how it came out. Judith's favourite colour is brown. I used my other dear friend Kerry's spellbinders for the main shape (thank you Miss Kez for that). I so now need to go buy myself a set as I am sure that I will make more of these.
I saw a rectangular gift box like this in a papercrafting magazine and thought how much fun I could have making it into a concertina type box. I just love boxes at the moment and really this was not that hard to make.
